Partnerships for Effective STEM Education

Motivators, Non-Motivators, and Blockers: A Conceptual Framework Analyzing STEM Faculty Engagement in K-16 Partnerships

Partnerships between K-12 schools and higher education are highly prized by policy makers but challenging to sustain. This study analyzes factors affecting the National Science Math Science Partnerships with a role of STEM faculty. Presenters will share findings about factors that have motivated or impeded the success of these partnerships during and after the formal funding period and offer recommendations for enhancing and sustaining partnerships at the policy and implementation level.
